Next Door Neighbor’s Condo Fire Destroyed Four Units

Definitely check your homeowners insurance policy the next time you have an opportunity.  This condo fire was in Troy, MI and the homeowner here was Up North when it happened.  Thankfully, no one was hurt.  The neighbor 3 doors down in the same Condo Building is where the fire started, but the fire spread quickly and pretty much destroyed the whole building.  In this particular unit, most of the damage was from the water and blown out walls and ceilings.  When the fire department is putting out fires with units all connected, the damage is unavoidable and most certainly going to be a complete loss.  Check your policy, call your insurance agent and make sure you have the best coverage that’s in your budget.
